Modeling
as a career is exciting, sexy and highly sought after. It is well
paid at the bottom end of the market and very lucrative at the
top. The profession gives girls the chance to travel and learn
languages, which in turn gives them poise and confidence. Many
girls start out posing nude. By revealing their long legs and
incomparable curves, they can show the fashion houses how great
those superlative figures are going to look in their latest
creations.
Irina, "the perfect ten," as one reviewer gushed in his
string of exultant clichés, has reversed this process. She has
been modeling for catalogues and fashion shows since she was 16
and got naked the first time at 18 when she signed a contract in
Romania to do a Playboy shoot. By then, she was prepared, the
consummate professional with her pale blonde hair and beguiling,
sympathetic manner. Irina means peace and, like her name, she
inspires a feeling of calm. Why did she take up nude modeling when
she already had a career in fashion? It is, Irina says, the way of
the future. How prescient.
