Sabine
is a farm girl. Her parents own a farm outside a small village,
and she grew up playing there and enjoying her childhood. Part of
the time she was just having fun, and other times she was helping
her father and mother run the farm. In the country, even the young
children have to carry their weight.
When one looks at Sabine, one can see all the features of an
archetypal “country maid.” She exudes a natural freshness. She
seems to have been fed on whole milk, fresh grains, and wholesome
meats. Her skin is clear, her muscles tight, and her hair thick
and sensuous. There is nothing unhealthy about this girl. She is
as full of life as the fields and the forests.
In fact, there’s a story she tells that concerns a certain
incident when she was starting to “blossom” as a young woman
on the farm. She was out in the horse field, piling hay off a
truck to feed to the horses. It was hot, so she decided to tie up
her shirt into a sort of halter-top formation. She also rolled up
her shorts real high so they were just below her buttocks. With
her hair down and sweat on her brow, she worked away, until she
heard a noise behind her in the trees.
Turning and looking she saw what must have been close to 20 boys
watching her. She threw one of her small shovels into the trees,
and they all scattered. Asking her brother later if he knew
anything about it, he said, “I sure do. They all paid me a bit
of money to sneak onto the land and watch you work. They say
you’re the prettiest girl in the county.” With a huff and a
smile, she went to her room, and could perhaps be seen to observe
herself in the mirror for just a little while before getting ready
for supper.
